This interactive and informal workshop will introduce participants to the letter families of the Chancery Cursive (Italic) alphabet using calligraphy markers and other tools. Participants will begin with the miniscule alphabet in the morning and proceed to the majuscules in the afternoon session. Following demonstrations of letters on the wall of the studio and using provided model sheets, participants will quickly gain confidence and proficiency in the creation of beautifully and properly proportioned letters. This is a relaxing and informal session for those who are new to calligraphy or lettering systems.
