Hamilton opened its doors up for free to the public on June 17th, 2017 for the museum's open house. In this time visitors were able to take a tour, view how wood type is made on the pantograph, and even pull their own impression on a press. The guided tours were offered twice and gave a chance for visitors to learn more about the history of Hamilton. Anyone walking through were able to print their own commemorative poster. With the poster they were able to pick a block from the Globe Collection and add an element to the background of the poster.
